Wheelchair Accessible Man Lift

Home wheelchair lifts are dauntingly expensive - upwards of $15k for a single floor. Instead, construction man lifts capable of 350 lbs and reach up to 36 feet tall can be found used for $1,500. I converted a Genie AWP-36S construction lift by replacing the standard bucket with a custom aluminum weldment platform, with safety gates and limit switches. The man lift is battery powered, and using a trickle charger it’s black-out proof for 50+ cycles of use.
